Down To Brass Tracks

My name is Nolan and the only thing I love more than music is talking about music. What makes an album good? What makes it stand out and memorable? How does it compare to the rest of an artist's discography? What are the best and worst songs on an album? Will I ever get really into metal? All these questions and more will be explored by me and my co-host Daniel every Saturday from 4-5pm (we'll also play some of our favorite tracks at the end)

Any artist, any genre, any time period. Let's find some cool music we've never heard of together :O

Episode 1: Ice Cream, Sweatshirts, and Horses (our actual first show)

So we finally have our actual debut episode of the show, after so many weeks of technicalities! For this first week we covered the following:

Battles - Gloss Drop (2011) Earl Sweatshirt - SICK! (2022) Laura Marling - Song For Our Daughter (2020)

It's going to be bit rough for the first couple episodes, but I hope you enjoy what we have to say about these albums. Side note: we say "like" and "um" about a zillion times this episode, so sorry about that. It's something I didn't even consider when recording and we'll definitely make more of an effort to cut back on the it in the future.
